Project Details

Pravda Records was started in 1984 by Kenn Goodman, who wanted to put out a record by his band, The Service. “It seemed that other people thought we were a label, so we became one.” Twenty years later Pravda has grown into a full-service record label/licensing & publishing company, and has released albums by Andre Williams, Cheer Accident, The New Duncan Imperials, Young Fresh Fellows, Hasil Adkins, Cordell Jackson, and Tiny Tim.

For their new website, Kenn wanted something user-friendly and easily navigated, but still a little funky and rough. The company logo is already pretty distressed-looking, so I carried that feel over to the rest of the site and rubbed everything in the dirt a bit. To keep everything up to date, I built a custom content management system for Kenn.
